The word “Kanso” means “simplicity.” Each kitchen knife in the Shun Kanso line has a full tang and is made from Japanese AUS-10A carbon steel. The handles are tagayasan (or wenge) wood, which is known for its iron-like hardness and beauty. Shun Kanso: simply built, simply functional, and simply beautiful. Made in Japan.
