Burr Oak Knives Harpoon Flipper #3 Knife Ironwood/Mokume (3.75″ Damascus)

The Harpoon Flipper #3 is a treasure. It has a 5 bar “Twist” Damascus steel blade with a flipper opener. Ironwood scales, Mokume bolsters, and bronze anodized titanium liners and pocket clip create a breathtaking presence. The steel back spacer is filed, along with the liners and blade spine. This knife comes with a signed certificate of authenticity, dated 4/2/15.

Mark Nevling, the craftsman and creator of Burr Oak Knives, discovered his enthusiasm for knife-making in 1987 when he created his first knife. He has continued in perfecting his work since that time, now as a full-time maker with a skill set that is evidenced in the exemplary knives he produces. Mark Nevling is also a volunteer firefighter and a certified first responder in Hume, Illinois; this gives him working knowledge of the particular needs of these professionals.
