The frame lock has a stainless-steel inlay and an overtravel stop so that the blade locks securely. The handle scales are gorgeous cocobolo wood that are not only super-light and strong, as is the titanium bolster, but sport a classic look. As an alternative option to the front flipper, there’s an elongated thumb slot for opening your new favorite pocket knife, which is a sentimental nod to the nail nick design of the traditional, old-fashioned Barlow.
